An audio loop induction system is available in the Council Chamber and Committee Rooms 1, 4a and 4b for those with hearing difficulties (a portable induction loop is available for other rooms on request).

CONSULTATION ON GYPSY AND TRAVELLER ACCOMMODATION

This report sets out the results of a consultation on provision for gypsies and travellers; the report also considers new issues that have come forward since the consultation and recommends not proceeding with a proposal for a traveller transit site at Cow Lane.

DYNAMIC PURCHASING SYSTEM FOR PROCUREMENT OF EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATION

This report recommends the establishment of a Dynamic Purchasing System to deliver and manage emergency accommodation for families and vulnerable people to whom the Council owes a housing duty; this will replace existing processes and formalise arrangements between the Council and providers.
