Introductions, Apologies and Terms of Reference

The Reading COVID-19 Outbreak Engagement Board was established by the Policy Committee on 3 August 2020. Further information and the Board’s Terms of Reference are set out at:

Consideration of formally submitted questions from members of the public under Standing Order 36 in relation to matters falling within the Board’s Powers & Duties, which have been submitted in writing and received by the Head of Legal & Democratic Services no later than four clear working days before the meeting.

David Munday, Consultant in Public Health, will give an update at the meeting.

Niki Barton, Strategic Communications Manager, will give an overview of communication plans and activities to prevent and respond to local outbreaks.

Yasmine Illsley, Public Health Programme Officer, will present information at the meeting on COVID-19 impacts on Black Asian and Minority Ethnic Communities and how this informs our local planning.

David Munday, Consultant in Public Health, will give an update on the development of Reading’s Outbreak Control Plan.
