A report seeking authorisation to consult on the implementation of a Boroughwide additional licensing scheme alongside the phased implementation of a selective licensing scheme to drive up conditions and improve the management of the private rented sector.

The Committee received a report which presented options for future regulation of private sector housing, including the implementation of discretionary licensing schemes.  The following documents were appended to the report:
