Committee structure
Full Council
Full Council is made up of all 48 elected Councillors. It is responsible for setting the policy and budget framework for the authority; approving plans and strategies; and setting the authority's strategic vision and corporate objectives.
Standing Committees and Sub-Committees
The Council operates a committee system of governance, with the following cross-party Standing Committees and Sub-Committees covering the range of the authority’s functions:
