To receive petitions on traffic management matters.

A report seeking approval from the Sub-Committee to undertake a statutory consultation to make Public Path Extinguishment Order to stop up that part Footpath 11 as detailed in the report - under Section 118 of the Highways Act 1980 (“the 1980 Act”) and under Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 (“the 1981 Act”).

A report informing the Sub-Committee of proposals to reduce the width of the cycle infrastructure on Sidmouth Street, and to seek approval to undertake a statutory consultation to amend the Traffic Regulation Order as required.

A report informing the the Sub-Committee of the work officers have undertaken alongside officers at Wokingham Borough Council to develop proposals for the continued improvement to the A4 London Road corridor and Sutton Seeds Roundabout and the informal consultation, launched by Wokingham, into these proposals.

A report informing the Sub-Committee that the statutory consultation agreed at the meeting in November 2025 for rectifying a TRO and signing issue associated with a pay and display parking bay on East Street has been carried out and ended on 9 January 2026.

A report seeking approval from the Sub-Committee for Officers to undertake statutory consultation for recommended new/alterations to waiting restrictions as part of the 2025 programme. These recommendations follow officer investigation of the requests, which were reported to and agreed for investigation by the Sub-Committee at their meeting in November 2025.

The following motion will be moved by the Chair:

“That, pursuant to Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) members of the press and public be excluded during consideration of the following item on the agenda, as it is likely that there would be disclosure of exempt information as defined in the relevant Paragraphs of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of that Act”

To consider appeals against the refusal of applications for the issue of discretionary parking permits.
